the other night I went out to eat with friends, one of them ordered mozzarella sticks for the table... and I didn't eat one.

you know what that is? growth.

and the follow up is: I won one of the poetry contests!

normally I would just shrug it off and sit somewhere else but two folks were in my movie seat today and when I told them that I'd booked that seat, they immediately checked their tickets, apologized, and moved! seemed genuine and that's a tick in the victory column for my non-confrontational self

it's amazing how much space you can find in your fridge when you decide to go on a declutter/cleaning spree and discover you have 9 mostly empty milk cartons, 3 empty boxes of squeezie applesauce, salsa from 2019, and 6 bags of bread, each with a single heel in it.
(thankfully I'm in therapy)
