#booksky thread! The Crystal Chronicles: Convergence by M.A. Carr. This is a local self-published I picked up. Pleasantly surprised. Tho the pacing needs work and there's a ton of characters that were hard to follow, I felt myself getting sucked into the world and wanting to know what's next. 4.5/5

#booksky thread! Fractal Noise by Christopher Paolini. Typical sci-fi book tbh. Technically a prequel but honestly not as good as the first book. Still an ok book to scratch that sci-fi itch but left me wanting when compared with To Sleep In a Sea of Stars. 3.5/5

#booksky thread! Iced by Karen Marie Moning. I enjoyed parts of this continuation in the Fever series. Exploring more of the characters is always cool but I didn't super like the grown ass men lusting over the fourteen year old MC. For the plot and non-creepy characters I give this a 4/5.

#booksky update! Hello Girls by Emily Henry and Brittany Cavallaro. Very good read. Found family, drama, and some hijinks that go from light hearted to scary. This was an interesting book, the ending left me wanting a little bit more but otherwise a solid book. 3.75/5

#booksky update! Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning. Another great installment in this series. Finally got some answers and some resolutions and lots of plot twists. Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. 4.5/5

#booksky update! Happy Place by Emily Henry. Goddammit. She did it to me again. 5/5. This is my favorite book by her so far. The romance was great but also the additional storylines with other characters was great. Hell yeah would recommend.

#booksky thread update! Skyshade by Alex Aster. This one was pretty good albeit a little frustrating. All of the typical love triangle frustrations that I experience in YA. I enjoyed the plot more when it wasn't about who she was going to end up with. Still love the world and magic! 4/5
