Fellow adopted Michigander here. Sad I won’t get to vote for you in 2026, but I also understand and respect the decision. Count me in for the coming coalition built on these values - I truly hope to help make this vision for a path forward a reality.

Where he talks about Jewish achievement being illegitimate echoes Trump’s railing on DEI. Seems now immigrants/POC + trans ppl are the ones explicitly dehumanized/targeted, facilitating the erosion of our values, while antisemitism is in [wildly transparent] dog whistles as outlined here by Snyder.

Honestly, took long enough! He was too big for his britches eons ago. Meanwhile, a wrecking ball is still actively swinging around the hallowed halls of Washington while they all hum and haw on what to do about it.

Reduce the amount of control Meta, Alphabet, X have - over the flow of information, user data privacy - by extricating ourselves from those ecosystems. Replace with other platforms (Bluesky, Brave, local news, etc). And, build/strengthen your local communities and support systems. #metablackout
