Just completed a 'distraction' drawing ( a couple of hours of non- painting.)
Old Man and his lemons
I tried a line and wash - didnt work out, sketched a pencil, then decided on charcoal pencil for a final result.
A3 size paper..(should have used a less smooth paper to create more texture 🤷♂️🤷♂️)

I managed to complete a 30"x 20" canvas acrylic of Ightham Mote north side
Had to use a faded out 1985 photo for reference..as today's North side view is hidden with too many trees.🤷
I'm still not convinced I've painted it as good as I wished.....but, well it kept me quiet 🤫
