Ah.
On the ground floor, the East Wing includes the visitor's entrance and the East Colonnade order connecting the body of the East Wing to the executive residence. Along the quarter is the White House Family Theater. The East Wing was built on top of the presidential Emergency Operations center, a secure emergency underground shelter for the president. Social and touring visitors of the White House usually enter through the East wing. Visitors touring the White House entered Through the Wood paneled lobby, where portraits of presidents and first ladies hung. They went through the Garden Room and along the east Colonnade which had a view of the Jacqueline Kennedy garden, past the theater to the visitor's foyer. They entered the Residence at the ground floor
