I sense that the two of us fundamentally agree on both the disease and perhaps also the medicine that can cure it. A strong man was and is simply not the right path. Maybe a strong, well-informed leadership. Trump is just not informed at all.

Real alternatives to unrestricted capitalism have rarely succeeded — except in welfare states like the Scandinavian ones. Gen Z's challenge? They see democracy’s slow processes as inefficient, but quick fixes rarely lead to good solutions.
