Today I am attending the funeral of my dear friend Tony 'Bongo' Wallis-Eade .
A friend from Bristol and here in Plymouth.
A remarkable man. So much laughter, so much fun (maybe a little drinking!).
Fellow cancer battler and raconteur.

Took some time but I found it is an appropriate Greek slang for 'I hope it passes'
And I do.
Tough times continue. There is despair but that niggle of my optimism keeps me going.

Finally I can breath, a tough start to the year.
In short, 5 days ago my dad fell over at home twice with 9 hr ambulance waits.
Finally he was taken into hospital given the care he needed.
Now he's back home and tomorrow a care package will be put in place.
My new year starts then.

After my update yesterday, today is the first good day this week. Less crawl more walk. At least now I understand.

Monday morning I woke up at 6 am unable to get my legs to work until 9 am
Slowly I am getting back in my feet
The joy of sensory ataxia caused by my MS.
Reasured by my GP that this will pass but may return.
I aim to be back out by next week.
Now at home in my dressing gown like a proper old man.
