It depends where in West Virginia. One of the panhandles is close enough to commute to DC. It's often considered part of the DC Metro.

Yeah, if he genuinely doesn't remember, how does he know it was an MRI and not for example, a CT scan? With him you literally have to be skeptical of every single detail.

We don't know that for sure yet. It may be the case, but it could have been a co-worker, and estranged spouse, random, etc. You just never really know in the initial hours after one of these events.

I don't think it was stated directly, but a lot of people just seem to take for granted that the MRI was done on his brain. It's very possible, maybe even likely, but has that actually been confirmed anywhere? I know that neither Leavitt nor Trump himself would confirm it.

Did you know that there is a second species which lives in Mexico? It's called the ocellated turkey and it's beautiful. Turkeys of either species can be surprisingly bright and interesting birds.

I've seen people talk about disinhibition as a sign of frontotemporal dementia, but I don't think he's more disinhibited now than he's ever been. He's always treated people like this publicly.

Geropsych facilities often exist for older people who are dealing with comorbid mental health and cognitive barriers simultaneously. They aren't really called "wards" anymore though.

Yeah, the vast majority of people in the vast majority of countries and the vast majority of centuries have never had a Thanksgiving dinner, so we are really privileged no matter how we do it.

Thank you for this reminder. Honestly for at least the first few hours information will be unclear in general or wrong. Maybe for longer. That always seems to be the case in these situations.

Attorneys for several of the victims have seen the unredacted files. If I remember correctly it was something like 14 people that have had access to them based upon Maxwell's trial in New York. So they will know if anything is missing.

What is the reason that Don Bacon doesn't do it? He has been really worked up about this situation and he is retiring anyway. I don't understand why he wouldn't move toward impeachment.

I don't think it's even about making life better, it's about just keeping people alive in the first place. I know so many people who are losing their coverage altogether and they are not impoverished. For people in poverty it's going to be even worse.

I wonder how much the Biden example still being at the front of people's minds caused them to overlook the same general kinds of symptoms in Trump.
The farther away we get from Biden, the more that Trump's infirmities seem clearer at the same time they also are naturally increasing.
