1-0 Stars after 1. Boldy lost 5 of 7 faceoffs that period, one leading to a goal. To me, this is easily avoidable by taking Johansson off the line and using Rossi, Gaudreau or Hartman as the center. Boldy is not an NHL center

Filip Gustavsson finally breaks on the fourteenth shot. That's the sixth-straight game the Dallas Stars have scored in the first period against the #mnwild. Haven't had a clean first period against Dallas since Game 4 of their 2022 playoff series.

When you're already missing Jonas Brodin, it doesn't feel like a great idea to get Jake Middleton in the box for five minutes. Wild lose the tradeoff with him and Brendan Smith.
