A bit of a basic response, but I adore Spirited Away. My comfort movie, 100%. The vibes just soothe me so much, the soundtrack is 10/10, the colors and animations are soooo fun to look at, and the story is very exciting. Also When Marnie was There, and Whisper of the Heart.

I loooove seeing the evolution of an artists art in their comics! I usually don't even notice the difference when reading it either, unless I were to go back to precious chapters. Seeing artists grow into their style is truly beautiful 😌

Okay that's great, but you are comparing to China. If you said literally any other country, I might agree with you. Japan? Yea. France? Yea. New Zealand? Yes. But CHINA? No. They're incredibly shitty to their citizens, and so is the US. They are both not great, because of their shitty government.

Yes, where the US gov. is going is not great at all. It's scary, and it's dystopian in all reality. But undermining what is happening/has happened in China just because the US is failing is not very nuanced. Look into the Baogang Steel Mill, too. We don't have shit like this in the states.
