I went to the school of hard knocks, and I'm still being educated at the university of life.
When are you MAGA lot going to learn, Trump doesn't care about you people, he just wants your votes and to do his bidding when he winds you up, like when he lost the last election to Biden. Who k ows what would have happened if he lost this one. But don't expect him to look after you.

This true as much here in the UK as it is in the US, there are dangerous forces at work. The whole western world needs to stand together to stop these far right forces from destroy our countries, we may not have their money but we are greater in number and we have democracy and truth on our side.

Galaxies are who know how many light years across, there's a good chance of there being hundred maybe thousands of stars with planets capable of supporting life. Still, I agree with what you say about the commute. The damn buses never run on time 😂

I still believe that religion is wrong and does more harm than good, in fact, I can't think what good it does that couldn't be or isn't done by people without religion.

The things these toffs will do to try and make chasing a poor fox to exhaustion and watching their dogs rip it apart more legitimate is unbelievable, as if these posh thugs care about the old folk, unless that's where they've dumped there loved ones.

Isn't that what Chinese call ying and yang?

Wouldn't the world be a wonderful place if there was no belief in imaginary gods and religion, and the churches that sell such beliefs to gain wealth and power.
December 27, 2024 at 4:48 PM
You're gonna have to explain that
December 27, 2024 at 3:27 AM
And he's trying to do the same thing here in the UK, only here he's trying to use Nigel Farridge as his puppet.

If religion is a necessity of morality, can someone explain why there is so much war and killing by people of one religion against the people of another, surely an immoral act.

I hope you don't mind but I just shared this on FB referencing it to the situation in the UK too.

A stunning picture, stonehenge with the milkyway as a backdrop. I wonder whether the people who built stonehenge ever saw it like that.

What a stunning photo
December 27, 2024 at 1:08 AM
Why? We don't know what's there.
December 26, 2024 at 11:45 PM
God was primitive man's way of explaining all the wonderful things that they don't understand. Why, looking at that picture, anyone can still believe in a god is beyond comprehension.

I agree, when you look up at the stars in the night sky, even without a telescope, it makes you realise just how insignificant we all are.
December 26, 2024 at 11:36 PM
When I said our closest star, I was talking about outside of our solar system, not our own star, or the sun as we call it.
December 26, 2024 at 11:32 PM
Do you think that knowing the distance we are from even our closest star, if there was life on any of its planets, they would really be able to reach us?
December 26, 2024 at 11:30 PM
That's phenomenal. We are getting to see so much more of the universe and in much greater detail, to think that the universe is infinite and there's so much we will never see. Just looking at pictures like that and others that we can now see, makes any belief in some god beyond comprehension.
