in august-september, when we began remaking the game graphics, we wanted to make the protagonist all cute and round! our main ihspiration is the Breviceps adspersus, or a common rain frog, look how cute it is!

when our game was just an entry for a local jam, we didn't focus on making the protagonist stand out. in the 5 days of the jam we wanted to hone the gameplay, so our protag was more realistic.

our frog can be pretty emotional sometimes. here we were testing some of the emotions, though theres a lot more of them possible, due to different mouths and eyes.
