how do you ensure the hostname is spelled consistently >.<

entirely fair if it's for your own use and it's just like "i will remember this" but nomenclature can vary, whereas i end up using fruits for all of my hostnames (listed on frogg.ie) so it's easy to verbally say "hop on apricot.lan"
