day 55... FINALLY!! i drew a bunch, actually. guess it was all the pent up traditional-only days bursting from the seams. though im only gonna show one thing! a wip sketch of a new character im brewin up!

day 50! i been using medibang n it serves its purpose. i struggle w moving on to better art programs cuz of the needing to find a new comfy way of drawing

but i finally switched to krita! i always wanted to switch but always been intimidated by it.. but finally! trying to find a comfy sketch brush!

And a mouth that has that classic cat shape to it. They're naked with no genitals, buff -- muscles with some weight, for a more bulky form. Top right is a featureless sketch figure that's on one knee, bent over that knee with (their) right hand outstretched and their fingers touching the floor and (their) left hand holding onto their propped up knee. Bottom right is a sketch of my OC Pea; a humanoid alien with a medium-length snout, heavy bags, and two antennae. He grinnin.

day 40's daily art is just some object practice because i realized ive never before in my life did that and i REALLY need to draw more than just characters

still trying to figure out how to draw objects in my 'style' (not even sure what my style is, honestly)

It's drawn very sketchy and leans more towards "realistic" (It's not actually realistic but it has that more realism details. But again, it's amateur.) Underneath it is generated text saying 'Do it again, and stylize it more.'. Underneath that is a redraw of the same four items; a mug, pencil, book and an orange. This time they're less sketchy and more confident and noticeably more cartoony, though not by an extreme amount. But they visibly lean away from the """"realistic"""" draft sketch. (Again, realistic under heavy, heavy quotation marks. Don't worry. It doesn't look good. It's just more grounded in reality with more careful and accurate proportions, details, texturing, ect ect. While the second set is, well, more cartoony and simplistic.)

alright ive gone back and fixed all the colors for the redesigns, as it matters a bit more what their colors were intended to be. so... here you go! small to you but huge to me!! :(

just realized for the past year or two ive been coloring with a night light filter on my computer for eye strain, cranked up to 50%

left side is unedited, right side is as close to what ive been seeing..... ive picked out and used such specific colors for the redesigns and now theyre all BLUE
A comparison of the Pea pic I have showed previously. It's cropped to just his shoulders up and has been copied and lined up side by side. The right hand picture has an orange blending multiply layer put over it to simulate what I have been seeing vs the unedited left hand picture, that in comparison is not as warm-toned.
