I was a historical tour guide at Stoneleigh Abbey.
Byron was er... friendly with Lord Chandos, who was the 'Second Creation' of the Barons of Stoneleigh. There's a bust of Byron in his personal Library. They studied at Trinity College Oxford for Law degrees and shared a house.
