Engine specific subs are good, mostly about learning and troubleshooting but also includes engine news and discussion, and progress showcases for some projects being made in the engine.

I’ll concede that I did assume that; I assumed that any artist with pride in their experience and work would not stoop to such pitiful, skill-less, meaningless productions for a quick buck on a third-rate print-on-demand site AND put their name on it proudly.

Yes, artists encourage creativity, as well as honing skills, mastering the craft, and expressing growth. When your images get “better” it won’t be because you’ve learned and improved, there won’t be a journey that led to that; it will be because a few lines of code changed at a data center.

The art world will survive despite you, to spite you. keep calling it art but it will not be recognized as that by anyone with any artistic talent or sense. It’s just mindless, effortless, meaningless graphics. It’s slop, and you are not even making it, you just plate it.

Was the signature AI generated too or was that your contribution

Is that price worth it for the nation? I’m not going to pretend I have an adequate solution to the problem, the problem exists because the funding wouldn’t otherwise. But let’s not pretend that shaming people for using these tools to stay informed is going to create a massive uptick in subscribers.

People who understand the importance of journalism will be more willing to pay but the average person, the average voter will look a subject up and go down the list of journals until they find an unblocked article. How much quality information did they lose along the way? How much misinfo was read?
