A watercolor piece of The First Bass Crafters Fishing tournament. Tango is on the left, holding up a saddle and showing it to Etho, who's on the right. Day 14: groups and collabs. "The fishing tournament" The water striders danced on the calm surface of the lake, almost like playing with the reflections. The smell of willow entwined the shore. The picturesque stillness was accompanied by light leaf rustling and some bird songs. Suddenly, the beauty of the lake got broken up by a scream. "I got it! I got a saddle!" Tango announced while holding out a wet saddle. He turned around ensuring all of his friends saw it. "No way, is it legit?" Bdubs wondered, coming closer to inspect the find. Noticing the algae growing in its seams, he nodded; "it's legit! We got a winner!" "And I just got started," Etho added, "Congrats, Tango!" Scar grunted, exclaiming from far away; "and here I was thinking I'm doing good!" "Well let's go and give the winner a prize! He deserves it," Cub said as he put his arm around Tango's shoulder. "Wait," Etho interrupted, "can we keep fishing afterwards? I kinda enjoyed it..." "Yeah! I want to celebrate my win! We could fish more and grill some of the catch!" Tango suggested. Bdubs smiled; the quiet lake had brought his friends together.

"The forecast didn't mention any rain," Joel complained to Pearl. Pearl smirked; "What? Afraid of a little rain?" "No I'm not, Pearl," he looked up at the gray clouds that were almost like a rainbow, reflecting the colors of the city, "I just spent a fortune of diamonds on this hologram, I don't want to risk it!" "Then turn it off! It's been glitching the whole day anyways..." "Well you don't understand fashion, Pearl!" Joel scoffed, "You've been wearing those overalls for over a year now! Besides I can't just turn it off, I left the remote at home..." Pearl was clearly holding back some laughter at her friend's remarks; "Ah, well then let's go to that bar and grab some drinks while we wait out the rain," she pointed at the direction of the closest bar. "Oh, I don't know," Joel said nervously, "I think the holograms would draw attention inside the dark bar." "Alright then, stay in the rain, I will go on my own," Pearl without even thinking turned towards the establishment. "Wait!" Joel rushed, not noticing the puddle he barely missed, "I'm coming with you!”

Slow morning

The piece is done with rapidographs and yellow pastel. Day 12: Pearl. "Aligned" "What do you want the future to look like?" Pearl thought to herself as she was evening out some terrain for another base. As she shoveled up some dirt she saw earthworms trying to retreat back into the moist ground. "What gives you a reason to think you're the only one entitled to live on this land?" she kept thinking. She sat down into the grass; this is too much thinking for so early in the day. She gazed over the field she was just planning to change fully, taking note of the flowers bending in the wind. Butterflies danced between them while bees visited each bloom in a greedy attempt to gather all the pollen. Two starlings flew over the field while somewhere above them all a raven was soaring. "This," finally answering her own question, "this is what I want the future to look like". Going against nature was just going against humanity itself. Pearl built her house out of wood, only occupying the bare minimum amount of land she could. When making a farm land she made sure to collect the seeds of the meadow first to replant them in between the buildings. She created water recycling plants, harvested wind and solar energy to power the village, and made a waste system allowing everything to be recycled. It took her a while to find balance and to relearn her ways of building, but the future looked brighter than ever.

"Sparkling" Cub has always loved space. The colors of the universes clashing with the dark, the twinkling stars in the vast sea of nothing, the oh so many beautiful planets unreachable to humans except with our eyes. It's all ever expanding, creating more mysteries and humans can keep up with. This is what Cub thought when he looked into skulk. The untouchable universe was now in his hands, sparkling and making noises almost like trying to communicate that indeed it's alive. And so Cub laid this universe down on a field, he also made a permanent night sky, perfect for his fireworks.

Day 10: Gem. "Eye contact" The first time Gem had stepped on a boat she wasn't even a century old. Back then it was just a job on the side to explore the world and find a meaning for herself, after all she had all the time in the world so spending a few years on the open waters wouldn't make a difference. At least she believed that for first few months. It started off with the murmuring during the night. Nobody else in the crew ever heard it, but clearly they were losing sleep from whatever it was. Later on some of their rations started to disappear. They wrote it off as rats and chose to lock it up in a chest, which worked until they chewed a hole in it and stole everything. This caused the already tired crew to turn on eachother, blaming each other for stealing the food. Besides the tension in the air, it was clear that their ship was quickly deteriorating, needing daily repairs.  It was a calmer day when Gem was assigned to do the repairs on the outside of the ship. The crew had started to calm down about the missing food, some had managed to sleep more. Gem lowered down to the hull. She looked down at the calm water, expecting to see her reflection, but she saw something looking back, attached to the rudder. From that moment alone she knew she's its target. Now centuries later, and she once again had found herself on a boat, this time determined, knowing her own meaning: to find it. To find the thing that was hunting her.
