How do you recover from corporate burnout?

I’ve been working different jobs for over 20 years and I’m tired.

Been at my current job for 6 years.

I used to excited about my job and profession but not really feeling it anymore but it pays well.

Practicing creating videos. Still not great at it but gotta keep practicing. 🫰

Haven’t read a fiction book in a while, but I stumbled upon Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson in the library the other day and read the whole trilogy in a week.
Felt good to read again.
Trying to get the kids into reading instead of always staring at their iPads so we visit the library a lot.

Just sent this to my best friend, because… why not? 🫶

I work with Figma every day at work. Privately I also use it for design work, but I'm considering switching back to Sketch or even Penpot to save some money.

Is it worth it? Every resource online is in Figma, so it would be a bit of a pain to switch.

I've found a way to create animated mockups using Midjourney, RunwayML and after effects.

I used to create them by hand in Cinema 4D and AE, but it took forever. This process is 10x faster.

I remade the navigation to expand on hover instead of being visible all the time to maximise the content area.
I also added a logomark in the top.

I’ve started working on the brand and website of my project. I'm not sure what astronauts have to do with social media, but I came across this astronaut asset on @ui8 and played around with it.

Im building a social media content planner tool using ai.

I started working on the inspiration page, where you can save inspiration from across social media platforms and repurpose it later.

It's trickier than I thought it would be, but it's coming along.
