There's no kitchen yet and still a week's worth of parquet fitting to do but we nonetheless already moved into out new flat with our flora and fauna. So far, they seem to adjust quite well to the new environment.
The living room of our new flat, packed with numerous boxes of parquet, decorators' supplies, and a few plants; an orange-coloured cat of unique character is lounging on the window sill.

2024 has been an interesting year for me. @piecesofannie.bsky.social (pictured while preparing for New Year's Eve) and I broke up and reconciled again. I re-negotiated my terms of employment to be able to work mainly remotely. I rejected an offer of a permanent position. I got British citizenship.

It has taken a fair amount of time and some bizarre administrative loops (mainly regarding an exemption for dual citizenship from the German government) but here we are.

Departure from Passau after two days of XI Conference for Practical Philosophy while having one of the worst colds I can remember. Yet, organising a panel on philosophy and digital games together with Stefan Höltgen was fun.
