After several false starts I finally finished Orbital, and look. You have to be in the right mood for it, but it’s the most gorgeously written thing I’ve read for years. It’s slow, and fast, dense and ephemeral, full of hope and grief in equal measures. It’s the perfect read for this moment in time.
