For some reason the OP is coming up as “Blocked”. They were saying that people shouldn’t put “author” in bio if they release self published books that no one reads. I disagree, if you write a book you’re an author. If you have the courage to release any writing publicly, you should be celebrated

This is very unfair. Also, if a person had a SoundCloud, with music they made, self published, zero listens, we wouldn’t bat an eyelid if they called themselves a musician in their bio. This is unique literary gatekeeping. And it’s not true.
