Now that I could draw a single sprite, why not 100,000 sprites? This test was super fast and exceeded my expectations and requirements for a simple and fast renderer. I was also super impressed with how well it worked on the web.

First thing I tried was to get a simple renderer up and running. I chose OpenGL 3.3 because that's what I was most familiar with. I am very much not a graphics programmer but after a few nights of learnopengl.com, I had my first sprite rendering. Shortly after I had it working on the web as well. ⚔️🛡️
