THE RED EYE THING SO BAFFLES ME... I've headcanon patched it for myself as like, these "Seldarine communities" are ones that branched off from other drow a longass time ago so they would have some ethnic differences and "mostly not red eyes" is one of them but it's not a Hard Rule.....

🫠 the pale-ifying of preexisting drow characters really gets me, like idc if brand new characters have more skintone variety, but it's SO weird w the new Drizzt book covers where the actual text goes on abt his dark black skin while on the cover Drizzt is barely darker than Catti-Brie

to me one of the most fun things abt Emp is that the game lays it on thick making it *feel* like he'll probs betray you but most of his attempted "manipulation" of tav is actually quite… straightforward, understandable, & more honest than it seems? and I think Vennet appreciated his blunt attitude
