I noticed it too. Just checked - today I received 12 emails from 6 different charities + yesterday got 2 "reminders" that today is Giving Tuesday. Understandable but ....

Six years ago in 2019 to be exact! TIL Yukon Territories holds their time at MST which would match PDT which was the preferred change. Seems to me it's more important to be aligned with neighbours in our own country NOT the states...but what do I know 😏

No. They are closing offices that used to be in a rural area but are now suburban due to urban sprawl.

It's so you can't do any price checks on their regularly priced items. The only time to buy anything at Canadian Tire is when it's on sale - anywhere from 40-85% off! (which gets it down to the list price everywhere else!😏
