we had the huge ones when i was a kid. my brother has a pair of the new little ones. they're interesting, incredible soundstage but you literally have to be exactly in the sweet spot. much better for some music than others. ECM jazz sounds great, big star not as much. for the diana krall heads lol

here's a killer band i don't see talked about much. really defies description. zig zagging angular off-kilter motorik post punk workouts. a carnival of sounds. this is what i imagine dr frankenstein listening to while building his monster
