With no skill and a cheap sewing machine I MADE A POCKET! For my pants that lack pockets because girl-pants don't get them. Someplace to stash my cellphone for a minute. I'm so proud.

I have had induction cooktop for more that 10 years. One "burner"makes a slight buzzing sound on high but that's it. It is so much faster than gas, easier to clean and gives extra counter space as well.

Elf, watching tonight with my daughter. Total tradition for us and I have seen it with her like a zillion times. Then Christmas Story, where Ralphie gets his Red Ryder BB gun. Then Die Hard after dinner on Christmas Day.
