We are the Station Adopters who look after the platforms and gardens at Leyland Station in Lancashire.

We currently meet on a Tuesday morning for a couple of hours from 10:00. New volunteers will be made very welcome. Come and meet us and have a chat.

FOLS (6) enjoyed working in the sunshine this morning. Planters tidied. Mulching more of the beds.
Phase 1 of the project on the triangle has been completed, now ready for the second phase next week. Plus the usual litter pick.

Work has started on what will be a new paved area at the entrance to Moss Lane car park, which will feature the BR double arrows in red brick. This project has been kindly funded by Leyland Rotary and is being built as part of the Railway 200 celebrations

Spring is very much here at the station! The beds on platform 4 have been mulched and the plants are starting to show their colour

A couple of pictures at Leyland station taken back in 2002 by our chairman Stan, featuring a class 55 and class 56 diesel locomotives. The station has come a long way since then!!
