The one on the right is Babykitty, & the one on the left is Nacho. We’re not quite sure what he is, but he has a face like a lion, and his tail is 14in long. It’s hard for him to loaf effectively, as he’s not built like a house cat. Babykitty will be 18yo this year.

I was standing outside my front door today, and this little guy came to see me. I think he’s a leaf-footed bug, but I’ve never seen one so big. I need to check my field guide to see for sure if that’s who he is.

This beautiful December moon is the Cold Moon. I’m sure the moon is cold, but here on the Gulf Coast, the low tonight is in the high 50s. We’ll think we’re freezing if it drops below 50dg, though. I don’t live south of I10 to be cold.
