Hey, Spiritworld. WTF was that new album. Dethwestern was great. Why was this new album crappy repetitive riffs and the same few screams over and over again,

not the month for spirit bands

not sure how to feel on new Spiritbox, while I really enjoy it. I may have given way too much high of expectations to the record. Still think it's a nice 8/10. But I felt like Spiritbox was going to be a 9+/10, just like Eternal Blue & The Fear of Fear.

This Architects Album Absolutely Goes Insane (so far) as I'm playing it. But the first song Elegy, in particular. Is one of the best songs in Architects discography. Must listen.

LeATHERMOUTH - XO

Angry hardcore, that's more relentless than any record of it's time. Nothing like MCR, this is Hardcore with the same energy as the 80s classics. 90/100

Against Me! - Transgender Dysphoria Blues

The first record after LJG comes out as trans, causing one of the best lyrical albums of it's time. More emotion is in this album than almost any like it. LJG's voice and the guitar riffs/tone fit perfectly together. 92/100

Darko - DETHMASK 3

More of what you hear on Starfire. Deathcore to end on Ambient Pop. The deathcore on this record is awesome! the Ambient Pop is worse then how the perform it on Starfire. Overall I give the EP an 82/100

MCR - Conventional Weapons

A collection of singles released in a few months put together by MCR. These songs are MCR doing the MCR sound well. A mix of soft songs & pop-punk songs. The best song is by far "Boy Division" Overall I give the release an 86/100

MCR - The Mad Gear & Missile EP

I've been obsessed with the Danger Days lore as of late. This EP is the songs they play in the car in the Danger Days MV's. The songs I would describe as Sci-Fi Pop-Punk. Keeping the action of Danger Days, but more punk. Overall a 87/100

In Music News, KDOT just did the super bowl halftime show. While Hip-Hop is not my go to genre. I do love this gif. Drake may sue me over this though. I believe there is a lesson to learn here. DO NOT piss off Kendrick or diddle kids.

Death Grips - The Money Store, short review

An album I've been putting off. All I have to say now is, I get it. This album is worth a listen in every way. Excellent keyboards/synths paired with awesome drums. Atmosphere on the level of Pink Floyd. Overall an 89/100.

Fort Minor - The Rising Tied

Excellent songwriting & delivery. Specifically on the song Kenji. I love the features throughout the entire album. John Legend's being super catchy. Downside is the moments when he says he thinks he's the best. Like all Hip-Hop.

Woke Up To Massive Metal News.

Black Sabbath reuniting to perform one last final show, profits go to Parkinson's research. (Which Ozzy Has) This is also Ozzy's last show. It's the band's entire original lineup. The show in Birmingham this summer. Idk how this will go. But Sabbath is still great.

Dax Riggs - 7 Songs For Spiders, short review

Dax is Back! His first release in 17 years is an awesome stoner rock record. The mixing is magnificent, the guitar tone w/ the synths is perfect. Dax is still a great vocalist. Overall an 82/100

The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow, short review.

Pop is not my genre, as my username would suggest. But despite that, The Weeknd is still an artist I follow. This album was long, boring and filled with poor singing. Especially from the features on this album. Overall a 57/100

L.S. Dunes - Violet, short review.

An album with awesome atmosphere, vocals, riffs & drumming. I couldn't sing the praise of the musicians enough. My biggest problem is the directions they take with the music. It doesn't feel coherent at times. Overall a 83/100

Avatarium - Between You, God, The Devil and the Dead, short review.

Excellent Vocals, beautiful guitar tone. but this album also suffers from boring, stale riffs. Nothing to catch your ears at times. Makes you almost fall asleep. Overall a 74/100

Neck Deep - Rain in July, short review

Neck Deep's first release. A very unpolished, raw EP. In this EP, they are heavier and have more pure emotion. Sorta like "The Wonder Years". This EP has great story telling. But outside of that, it's worse Neck Deep then later releases.
