the LTT coverage mentions a first party over-the-head strap (and controller straps) btw. might still be a Sold Separately deal though

so there's at least one random internet alkali who's interested in games & games-adjacent testing

FWIW i keep pondering testing stuff for *mods* for games (which feels even more nightmarish), because i want to be able to assert things like "i didn't break the textures", "menuing still works", and "integration with the networked randomizer framework isn't mysteriously broken"

i have unfortunately just found pieces of?/references to? a stable diffusion integration that used to exist? will exist? is currently disabled?? called "Imaginate". there's like unpublished partial docs and commented out chunks of website. mentions in blog posts. e.g:

i went to take a peek to see how involved it might be to make a Grphte fork, and, at least at first glance (and searching the repo for a bunch of keywords i'd expect to see) i don't see any AI/LLM/Sparkle Bullshit Button stuff? where should i be looking? is it just a policy thing atm?

assuming i'm reading correctly, based on steamdb steamdb.info/app/392680/h... it's always been Jeeboman, but (scrolling alll the way down to 2015) it seems to have been in a couple valve VR "packages" like "Valve VR Internal Testing" and "VR Wireless Demo List"

it's always really neat seeing how the work gets done, so getting to see some triaging as well was just as interesting imo

i have not tested to confirm that it doesn't scromble your colourspace or something, but it looks like imagemagick supports arw and tiff (and also exr!) imagemagick.org/script/forma.... So i'd expect `magick fromcamera.arw forunity.tiff` to do the job
ImageMagick | Image Formats
ImageMagick is a powerful open-source software suite for creating, editing, converting, and manipulating images in over 200 formats. Ideal for developers, designers, and researchers.

a comment on this (www.reddit.com/r/oddlysatis...) reddit post (found via reverse image search) suggests that they are food. specifically a kind of steamed bun called en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huajuan
