go yell at the games that already have invasive ass stuff tied to them instead of a game that very clearly doesn't

but for real though, no, retroactively adding this to old games doesn't make sense, and will likely be a big waste of money. The last update for Borderlands 2 was way back in 2020, and the last update for 3 was back in 2023. I think its safe to say they aren't going to "make them spyware"

like yeah adding an invasive anti cheat sucks balls but if you have an account on like ANYTHING companies already have the information they'd like to sell, and I'm pretty sure a majority of people complaining about this play LoL or Fortnite, ya know, games with invasive ass anti cheat

like? it kinda is fruitcake and I tag it as such on tumblr but to me personally it's a separate thing that just kinda falls under that umbrella yk?

also some context on my selfship with Cosmo bc it might be questioned why I'd get jumped for it: I kinda present it as if it were Fruitcake because Sprout is just a character I really see myself in and have kinda just adopted as a representation of myself in this context.
