frankly i just don't wanna deal with it anymore. even if it got pulled back, i feel like they've done far too much damage already. the vague promise that they wouldn't damage it even more doesn't do much for me

as far as i know stoat is being made by a very small team, like it's mostly handled on github but the main team is incredibly small. kinda seems like the influx of users is testing their already weak servers

im sorry, am i missing something? the only flow state bug i saw was the weird floor paint thing not showing up sometimes, and that's fixed now. and why would a separate team be carrying out the significant battle changes?

i guarantee you none of this is laziness, the internet is even more potent and mean than it was nearly five years ago when miitopia switch came out. i don't think nintendo is totally oblivious to what people could do with an even more freeform system

we all won't because the "sucks" portion of his career is fairly recent, he used to have a hand in a lot of amazing stuff AS PER THE VIDEO SEEN IN THE POST ABOVE

still a little upset it hasn't seemed to fix a bug for me where stress pico just refuses to end properly and does that weird song loop over and over
but yeah, a LOT of modding and crash fixes, and also a good handful of qol things for the chart editor

i see a mention in the document of a study that suggests under 10% of similar allegations are false, and i have to wonder how much of that comes from these situations online. it feels like it has gotten too easy to bandwagon people, to destroy yourself emotionally to let yourself do these things.

i mean silksong was right there. and other great indie games. and bananza was good as much as people wanna claim it's terrible sometimes.
there were very well contenders for the same quality, this isn't a case of "erm, do better AAA lol" because most of the nominees weren't AAA anyways.

when you simplify everything down i do think you lose potential clarity because you MUST have everything tidy and uniform
