It is very easy to bring about "peace" when a major power like the USA simply threatens the supposedly weaker party in a conflict with the destruction of trade relations or military ties if the "smaller" party does not capitulate. Alternatively, Trump could simply threaten to drop a nuclear bomb.

Isn't it illegal to invade a country and annex it by simply putting up signs? The US is doing the same thing as Putin; they're annexing land that clearly belongs to Mexico. That's a declaration of war!
