The Friday Night Dance at Glen Echo

Every Friday over 100 dancers dance contra dance to live music in Glen Echo National Park next to DC. About 8-30 beginners join them for the first time and some get hooked for life! Ages 15-90 regularly dance with us, and all others are welcome. Try it!
Somewhere in the Americas we need to put in the contribution of African-American call-and-response to both east and west coast. As far as I know (and I don't know much!), the Brits did not call during the dances--that's an African American thing.
