If you told me 10 or 12 years ago that 2025 would be the first year of this decade in which John Calipari and UK would make it to the Sweet 16 I would not believe you. Doubly so if you told me they would do so apart from each other.

The more I see the current state of the GOP the more I think that those of us who were taught that "real men" own up to their mistakes and take responsibility for their actions were done a great disservice.

It's amazes me how they always act like middle schoolers who know they're caught but assure you that this time, unlike all of the other times, they actually didn't do it. You gotta believe them.

I am not delusional enough to believe that Mark Pope is the best coach in college basketball. But I do believe that he is the best coach for Kentucky in this moment, and I wouldn't trade him for anyone in the world.

I'm tired of the narrative that the only reason SGA scores so much is all foul calls he gets.
SGA averages 33 points per game. Jordan averaged 33 or more 3 times. 2 of those 3 he shot more FTs per game than SGA this season.
The FT narrative is stupid.

It's really hitting hard that if HB 495, or anything like it, passes, then my family will have to move from Kentucky, where I've lived for nearly 46 years now. Maybe not immediately. But inevitably.

One thing not usually mentioned with the tariffs is that they have the potential to absolutely destroy guitar manufacturers. Mexico and China are both enormously important to both Fender and Gibson, two iconic American brands, with headquarters is California and Tennessee, respectively.
