I think you might be stuck in your echo chamber. Maybe you should talk to some trans youth, their parents, their doctors. You may learn a thing or two about compassion.

Actually, studies have shown that nonviolent civil resistance is the most effective counter to authoritarian regimes. Some folks just want violence, regardless of their ideology. Violence creates more problems than it solves.
