we have known for nearly 10 years that ICE is a terrible agency and complacent at best as a group willing to unnecessarily deport people. this isn’t a case of an organization misused, this is exactly why it exists.

your question is silly, that’s why. but since you want an answer: if the government shuts down with fascists ruling we will all suffer in ways both imaginable and non. no leftist is going to tell you otherwise and that’s why your question is in bad faith.

i don’t know how to tell you this but the dems that actually have actionable plans? those are the ones who want to acknowledge those things and work on it. if you keep holding onto centrist losers who relinquish power to fascists at every turn, you will never get those things ever.
