I know that I have shared many missives from Sister Amal, and the suffering in Gaza. Today, I asked her how she was, and she said "we are fine, thank God" and she sent me this picture: "Pictures of those returning to Gaza. We are truly a people of giants, as they say."

Immunocompromised people still exist and no one in G4z4 is getting medical care right now. I have thought about this fact, at least once a week, for two years now

Can't eat wheat so I made my own Dubai chocolate bars, with 100% more skulls
For the filling I took gluten free puffed rice and tossed it with a smidgen of ghee for flavor and then toasted before adding it to the pistachio cream and tahini

Me: I always mention you in my dua. I'm not well at the moment but my immune system doesn't work so this happens to me a lot. I am treated with a medication that comes from blood donations. I'm grateful for it, but I often wonder how many people like me have been murdered [in Palestine] through the lack of medical care

From Amal today: The bombing is intense. There have been a large number of martyrs, most of them children. These are very difficult days. There is no clean, drinkable water, no lunch, & even if it is available, it is very expensive. My children are fasting, there is no food to break their fast with.
