On a personal level, I would absolutely, as I won’t buy games that I know have used it. I don’t know what I would do as a reviewer, besides potentially try to not be the staff reviewing it, even if that means it won’t get covered. Maybe post an editorial about why it’s not being covered?

So, my first would be Forces, by Susumu Hirasawa, followed by Wind by Akeboshi. If you like either of those, both of their discographies are full of stuff similar to them

At least when a boss wipes the floor with me it’s over quickly and I can adjust. When they’re outhealing me it’s hard to tell when it’s worth reseting and loading a save

Yes! Give me the tools to handle it and I don’t mind. Don’t have those and pair that with an ai that uses abilities at random and you’ll get the boss healing FIVE turns in a row 😡

The biggest change, imo, is to the enemy ai. They no longer let just a couple come at you at a time, they’ll swarm the crap out of you!
