What is Myalgic Encephalomyelitis? It is commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The experience of #ME/CFS varies, as there is a high likelihood of other comorbidities (Denu et al., 2025). The main symptoms include severe prolonged fatigue, sleep problems, and cognitive impairment.

What is Myalgic Encephalomyelitis? It is commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The experience of #ME/CFS varies, as there is a high likelihood of other comorbidities (Denu et al., 2025). The main symptoms include severe prolonged fatigue, sleep problems, and cognitive impairment.
For our report* on ME/CFS management, it was agreed to combine results for management techniques/treatments rated 'somewhat helpful' and 'very helpful' for a comprehensive overview of what patients found beneficial.

Pacing and lifestyle management courses (NHS or other) were rated highest (96% and 90%, respectively) among those that tried them.
Diet adjustments were third most helpful (83%). Medications for migraines (81%), pain (77%) and irritable bowel syndrome (76%) were also rated highly.
