I'm calling in GuideLine for Adobe After Effects. You don't have to make a grid with it as you can add guides anywhere, but a grid might be a good place to start for merging shape layers for more customized layouts.

I dig the Guide Manager in Affinity Designer, so I made a version for Adobe After Effects. Create guides, shape layers, precomps, or solids with masks. Enter values in percentages or pixels, create presets, import existing guides from the active comp, and other QOL.

This is my take on a Kinetic Typography tutorial using CC Pixel Polly. In my version, Time Displacement is used, which provides more control over the particle dissolving. I love the addition of Dehancer Pro Film and Quick Chromatic Aberration 3 from PluginEverything for a nice organic feel.

Calc AE for Adobe After Effects available soon @aescripts.bsky.social. Here we take the duration of selected layers, divide it by 3, go to the resulting timecode value, and then move forward the number of resulting frames. Not a fan of using buttons? Manually enter the timecode using your keyboard.
