It's so you can stand for a bit after sitting for a bit. Standing all day is probably doing it wrong for the same reason. ;-)

Funny, in English I always forget whether someone is a nephew/niece or a cousin because in Dutch we only use niece/nephew.

We do that in the Netherlands too. Someone close to the family can be "aunt" or "uncle". As such I'd potentially wonder if it might also be a New York thing, considering their Dutch heritage.

Gun oil is toxic, you get all kinds of harmful particulate matter and gases when firing… definitely not good for your lungs. I believe lung injury has been linked to autism due to immune activation so if you expose a <6 y/o to that, whether directly or through a pregnant mother, it just might.

That's a good point, but of course it could also just be one of the worst people on this platform or something. 😅
