An alien is lounging on the couch when she hears someone yelling "YES SIR, THANK YOU SIR" from far away. In the next panel, a smiling sasquatch enters carrying a cardboard box. "Check it out," he says, "My dad's moving and he dropped off a bunch of stuff from when I was a kid. Look, my old Christian alternative YA novels!". "Did your dad tell you where he was moving this time?" The alien asks. "Nope!" the sasquatch responds. Three book covers are shown: A goosebumps knockoff called "Holy Terror" (Slogan: Reader feel fright, you're in for God's light"), a book called "Diary of a Pious Kid", and one called "The strange case of Origami Yehezkel". The alien holds up a fourth book. "Testament: Book 2 of the Eternal Forces Trilogy?" she asks. "Oh, dude, that one's a classic. Better than the Hunger Games, if you ask me." the bigfoot responds. We see a page from testament: My breath hitched in my throat as he gingerly handed the book to me. Every detail was the same, from the dark leather binding to the strange, t-shaped symbol pressed in gold leaf on the front. My mind flashed back to Commissar Locke’s warning-- This symbol is dangerous. If you see anyone brandishing it, report them to me immediately. Jebediah turned his ice-blue eyes to me, tucking a lock of black hair behind his ear. “The Resistance has been planting these in hotel bedside tables”, he breathed. I met his gaze for one agonizing moment, before forcing myself to turn away. “I shouldn’t even be talking to someone from your district... Much less a Resistance sympathizer”
