This used to be a speed camera but the farmers decided to make it more christmassy. It’s tyres piles onto the camera with a Christmas tree spray painted, you gotta love French farmers

Everyone in my local town in mid France are wearing masks because there is a nasty flu about. Very sensible I think.

I remember when the US was respected. The people were seen as friendly and welcoming. It’s was a great holiday destination. It was a good place. Thats wasn’t so long ago but a lot has changed. Reputational damage has been done and it’s going to take a lot to fix it. #US #Trump

I did a disastrous xmas market yesterday. Loads of people only buying cake or sweets. I even wore my special xmas tree earrings .The good thing was they had a looped George Michael song track playing.

The bassist of the Stone Roses died aged 63. Sad but even sadder that he leaves 12 year old twin sons whose mother also died two years ago.

I just watched a beautiful film on Arté. You can find it on an internet browser. It’s called The Tailor and is just lovely. It’s Greek with English subtitles but is not hard work at all. It’s a wonderful bit of feel good.

Walking dog this morning I came across a buzzard sitting on the path. Quite beautiful. Sorry no photo but I was trying to stop dog eating bird/vice versa. It was a narrow path so we walked within a foot while it watched us. I thought it was injured but then it flew into a tree. Amazing experience.
