After months away from painting, I took up my brushes and paint and made this Advent calendar for my niece. I rubber-cemented little doors over each frame. I usually paint in a looser style, so painting with small brushes challenged me. It felt really good to paint again. #watercolorpainting

I just discovered this album. It’s brilliant. Jon Batiste is amazing in how he interprets the familiar refrains of Beethoven’s most famous pieces and gives them a jazz edge that makes them feel fresh. I think Beethoven would appreciate the timelessness of the fusion.
