i know it's just advertisement but it still pisses me off when tech CEOs claim AGI will solve humanity's problems with its vast intelligence. for a lot of problems we already know the solutions, what prevents them being solved is not a lack of intelligence, but that the solutions are unprofitable

At the risk of arguing with idiots, Canada wouldn't just be one state, right? Alberta and Quebec would be different states, right? Does Felony President not realize that other countries have smaller geographic/governmental entities same as the US?

DEI programs in big tech companies never served to enable the hiring of mediocre women, people of color, or LGBTQIA+ folks. They made it just slightly easier to hire *great* LGBTQIA+, women, and people of color. Dismantling them is a win for the mediocre white/Asian male and no one else.
