I either daydream and distract myself, or if I have no ideas, I will go read fanfics myself, just anything to move my brain to something less distressing

You might not be able to shut the brain off, but you can change what track it runs on (that's what I find works, it doesn't apply to everyone)

Hm, guess that means I gotta check those shows out then if the quality is that good haha

Not to mention just the progression for technology at the time! They really were a Trailblazer in so many regards when it came to CGI shows

Yeah, she wasn't really evil as you said, she was always that chaotic neutral being that did things because she could. Which was the big part of her. She was never a villain, just a roadblock here and there

Well, they did kinda make Matrix and Enzo separate characters, which might have helped a lot in that aspect. Giving Bob a chance to have something familiar but not.

It was also interesting when they threw that old connection between the two in randomly. Like when they meet in the Web

Mhm, and it doesn't really reflect how she still has her old habits, she's still Hex. Just less viral and more just... an oddball that was so fun to watch

Ahhh, I guess looking at it that way would make more sense, I just assumed from a character design standpoint it felt very drastic, especially with the whole colour switch being so sudden too. Red to white is not your typical colour change.

Ah, no I get that. Sorry about that my brain did not pick that up. (Partially because I know nothing about DBZ) but I always liked seeing younger Enzo and Dot's perspectives, there was a lot going on in them but you saw how interwoven they were to the entirety of Mainframe.

I mean, they both had significant growth in the series, but it's hard to exactly label many of the characters the outright protagonist because of just how often we have episodes from different perspectives. I could say Dot was a protagonist and I think that would make sense imho

I mean fair, I mostly just hated the hair... it looked so out of place for Hex as a character like- they removed the iconic part of her design and said "Yeah, people will totally know that's her"

As much as I disliked the design, the story behind it and its meaning was a lovely touch

Oh man, when she started having lip syncing young me was so confused. Like "what do you mean the lady with the masks can now speak!? I was enjoying the speaker system her mouth had!"

I always thought she was aware but just wasn't particularly gonna care about it. She was having fun and doing what she wanted. Maybe it's my ideas being weird, but she may have also been doing it to cope with her past traumas?
