It is amazing that they seem to have an orbit and poignant episodes tend to fall on the same day. It's like celestial events. Someday all five will lineup to start on the same day.

There are still local DJs that were in the scene during the Starck era, have you talked to any of them? A lot of music played in all of the clubs in the Dallas scene was influenced by Starck, and DJs were keenly aware of what each other was playing.

It's been 45 years since Starck closed and people with firsthand accounts are becoming fewer and fewer.

I'm just wondering if your information is from firsthand accounts of people that were there, or from published sources such as Billboard charts (I know Rick was a billboard reporter and I think Mike was too but I'm not sure).

Since the election I have completely boycotted anything from Meta as well as companies like Amazon.
I miss keeping up with friends, but I certainly don't miss the cesspool of Facebook in general.

I agree on the Klipsch. I would myself stick with pro audio even for critical listening. Something from Fulcrum Acoustic, L Acoustic etc.

When you're playing vinyl you can do with a large SUV and an hour long load in what other people can do with a thumb drive.
