Before the apology earlier today and now , more so, I think our Sporting/ Technical Director should write to the PGMOL and PL to request Tierney be stood down. That was a red card in the seventies, never mind today.

Spot on. I think we need to improve before going for CL and EPL. The areas requiring better players/ improved squad depth are clear. We need to be consistently better, not just for a half or 20 minutes, when we are brilliant.

There's a very good explanation and result simulator on the CL APP. My only confusion is that I believe that 1st/2nd have the second leg at home throughout. Some believe that's only the L16 round
