From streetview you can see where a significant branch had already broken off a couple years ago.

Neighbor who witnessed it told me it started making loud cracking sounds at 8:30 last night and broke at 11:30. I it's going to leave a void. She also told me it was 135 years old.

Taking apart my coffee roaster. It started taking too long to roast about a month ago and now stalls out before first crack. It's 10 years old. If cleaning isn't enough will have to debate parts vs full replacement.

Question for my grade 6 kid. It got worse from there. I don't know who wrote these but I am flabbergasted. Next question was about the legal liability of debit cards and why are they better than cash. The answer here was to calculate interest on balance on last day of the year. What bank does that?

That is my Napoleon (Canadian) WSM style smoker. Tbh WSM is more practical for refueling, but the Napoleon can remove a ring and use less fuel if you are just smoking a single brisket.
